Free Entry Thursday was originally conceived as a day dedicated to people who are convention-curious but who don't want to have to pay to find out what really happens inside. It's a full day of content, not scaled down in any way, for what the full four days of ALL-CON looks like to our hundreds of regulars who arrive on Thursday (or even Wednesday night!) and don't leave site until the lights turn off on Sunday night.
The Feature Events are FREE. The Vendor Room and access to Guests are FREE. Exclusive day features like the Bunny Hutch Social and Disenchanted Emo Ball are FREE. Daily Features including Laser Tag, Miniature Golf, and the Escape Room are FREE. Hourly content including the craft room, and game shows are FREE. The electronic gaming, whether you prefer consoles or classic cabinets is FREE. We cannot be much more clear. This year at ALL-CON Dallas, Thursday is FREE!
Unbelievably, we still have state what should be common sense. Free Entry Thursday is from 10am until Midnight. The Vendor Room closes at 7pm nightly, so please don't show up at 10pm expecting to shop. Or if you need to leave at 10pm, understand why there was no "Midnight Loot Drop" for you. While the day is FREE to enjoy, regular 4-day convention hours still apply. -Thank you.
For more than 15 years we stopped counting ALL-CON has had Free Entry Thursday as our way to give back to those who have supported us and the fans who might not have the funds right now, needed to drop in order to hang out with friends and celebrities at a real convention. For 22 years we have been a community event not a commercial production and we get it.
Free Entry Thursday is exactly what you might need in today's economy! You must register for a badge on-site (FREE) because we need an accounting of how many people are in the hotel for capacity reasons. WE DO NOT CROWD THE CONVENTION. We haven't hit capacity in recent years, but if we do, entry must be paused. If you have purchased a 4-day / Full Event badge, you will ALWAYS be included in capacity and so are guaranteed to be allowed into the convention spaces!

• THU 10am-2am (Vendor Room 3pm-7pm)
• FRI 10am-2am (Vendor Room 11am-7pm)
• SAT 10am-2am (Vendor Room 11am-7pm)
• SUN 10am-4pm (Vendor Room 11am-4pm)
